The Sizzix Bigkick Diecut Machine is Sizzix's largest personal diecut machine to hit the market. This easy to use machine is a great stepping stone from the original Sizzix Machine and only lacks features of the Electronic Cutters. As far as price vs. functionality, it is a winner but in a market with hard to compete with products like the Cricut Electronic Cutter and Expression Machine.

Compared to all other non-electric cutters, the Sizzix BigKick is a definite must have. Its larger rollers and base make it a little less portable than the smaller machines but once you have it to your destination, you are going to love the extra size.

In this crafter's opinion, if you have the money, this machine will be well worth it and you will love the results you get from purchasing it... take a chance, you may just find your new best friend.

Ease of Use


Sizzix newest and biggest creative machine yet, the Sizzix BigKick Machine combines big dies, big designs and big possibilities with the big-time compatibility of the entire current Sizzix and ellison design product libraries. This easy to use machine is out of the box and ready to use in less than half an hour. Finding the right combination of platforms for all varieties of dies may be a tiny bit tricky in the beginning if you are anything like this paper crafter and hate to read directions but all in all, this machine is simple to use and a great compliment to any paper crafter's closet.

Variety


The Sizzix BigKick/BigShot can accomodate almost all of the dies on the market. Durability


The Sizzix BigKick/BigShot Machine is mini roller machine and holds up beautifully under normal usage. The rollers on the BigKick/BigShot Machine are larger than that of the Provo Craft Cuttlebug and provide an even more clean cut and long term relationship for the owner.

The machine itself and rollers are durable and do not need any maintenance. The cutting mats need to be replaced occasionally. If they are worn or past their prime they can mark up, tear or damage your paper.

Bottom line, a just about perfectly durable machine with no need for special treatment.

The Sizzix Bigkick diecut machine accommodates dies of many varieties from companies like QuicKutz, Cuttlebug, Accucut, and of course, Sizzix. Portability


The Sizzix Bigkick is a larger diecut machine and has dimensions of a little over 12x14x6 which make a little more cumbersome to transport. While packing this machine along may be a bit more work than something like the small Sidekick, you will definately be glad you have it once your get to your destination.

All in all, the Bigkick is one of middle ground diecut machines to transport but considering its other functions, worth the hassle in this crafter's opinion.
